On December 20, 2006 a rather severe Blizzard hit Colorado and surrounding states. It pretty much ground Colorado to a full stop. Please go to my trail blogging site (opens a new window) for a full description of the event.
Some people did have the ability to plow the sidewalks. Even though they couldn't drive their cars I guess it was better than nothing. Gave them a good feeling for having spent a lot of money on a snow machine that had been sitting in the garage collecting dust for a few years : )
