The Comanche Peak Wilderness area of Colorado is a almost perfect. Very close to Fort Collins, CO. Beautiful country. Limited numbers of people. My missed opportunity. While driving up the forest service road to the trailhead I came upon 2 wild turkey hens and around a dozen "chicks". Took me a while to pull over, get my camera, and then hike up the mountain trying to locate them and get a picture. Got close enough to get a poor quality picture (camera is not good enough to "spot focus" through the trees : ).
